a very Happy Christmas.
Over Christmas we use a lot of energy. Here’s some tips how to use less energy and have less impact on our environment:
- Think about what presents you buy for Christmas, how are they packaged?
- Reuse & Recycle wrapping paper.
- Make presents & cards out of recyclable materials/decorations
- You can buy food grown locally
- Buy gifts which help people stay warm & help reduce heat use
- Use recyclable bags when shopping
- You can use Christmas dinner leftovers in sandwiches or feed the dog!
- Or put them in the compost bin with food waste
- Dispose of your Christmas tree properly
- Give any unwanted presents to the charity shop
- Turn your Christmas tree lights off & other lights when you go out,
- and when you go to bed, it’s safer too!
