We are pleased to announce that on 21st March TTK community garden will be hosting the world renowned gardening author Joy Larkcom. She is known for her many books such as 'Grow Your Own Vegetables' and 'Oriental Vegetables' and many more. She will be giving a talk entitled 'creative vegetable growing' to inspire gardeners of all experience levels. Furthermore, The community garden's own Aimi Pinder will talk on 'Growing in small spaces' to show that even those with little space or no garden of their own can be successful in producing their own delicious food.
The event will be held in The Temperance Hall, Kinsale, kicking off at 7pm. A raffle will be held with many great prizes such as winning a team of gardeners for the day to get your growing space flourishing this spring. Some plants will also be on sale as well as scrumptious cakes and teas, all in aid of the community garden. Entrance is free to this event although any donation would be gratefully accepted.
