On Saturday 24th April Transition Town Kinsale will hold its fourth Spring Fair, located this year in the heart of the town. We would like to offer you the opportunity to promote your business by taking a stall at the eco-market in the Methodist Church, a beautiful venue in the centre of Kinsale.
The Spring Fair is an opportunity to share ideas and information, socialise, support local community groups and businesses and celebrate our achievements.
It will be a busy day, filled with numerous activities:
The very centrally located Eco-Market; Many educational, informative and also fun Workshops; The ever-popular Car Boot Sale; Street Entertainment and Kiddie’s Events. Evening entertainment will be provided at the College of Further Education’s amazing amphitheatre. The final line up and details of events will be available on the website shortly.

The cost per pitch is €30.

- Provide a venue to support local business, promote local economy and employment.
- Promote the areas of trade outlined below with an emphasis on diversity.
- Opportunity for the local community to see what they can avail of locally.
- Social event… chats and and chai in the sun hopefully
- Information on Transition Town Kinsale initiatives - an Open Forum board will be available.
Priority will be given to traders who support the vision of Transition Town Kinsale:
- A Sustainable local economy
- Local Food growing
- Energy efficiency
- Reduction of our carbon footprint
- Sustainable transport
- Reuse – Reduce – Recycle
- Sustainable housing
Thus we are looking for businesses who:
- Provide an eco-product or service
- Operate using eco-friendly standards
- Operate in close proximity to Kinsale (where a niche exists a pitch may be offered to a business operating further afield)

Date: Saturday 24th April 2010
Venue: Kinsale - Methodist Church
Trading Hours: 10am to 5pm
Load in Time: from 9 am (let us know if you need to come earlier)
Breakdown: 5pm to 6 pm
Cost per pitch: €30
Pitch size: 1m x1.5 m approx. (table of this size provided)
Insurance:
TTK has Public Liability but traders should also have there own insurance.
Health and Safety Certs:
Required if serving Food
Booking and Payment
Pitches must be booked by 26th of March and paid in full by 12th of April. Cheques etc. should be made payable to Transition Town Kinsale.

Pitches can be used to sell and/or promote your product/service
If you wish to split your pitch with another trader you may do so but both traders must fill in separate application forms (at no extra cost).
This is a not for profit event and pitch costs are small (all labour for this event is voluntary!) Where possible, a contribution of a prize for our Spring Fair Raffle would be greatly appreciated.
